ABC2 has been around since 2005. ABC3, a kids channel, launched in late 2009 so is pretty recent. A fourth channel, ABC News 24, is due to launch imminently.


Yes to all three of those! SBS One is also a main channel but is less watched compared to the rest as it tends to focus on rather specialist PSB programming and imports rather than general entertainment.

Mongrels is still not reaching the top 15 on BBC3 in the official lists, but it does seem to be scoring highly on iPlayer (ep3 is still #6 on the BBC3 lists a week after transmission!).

Broadcast has Friday's ratings (http://www.broadcastnow.co.uk/rating...015955.article), but they appear to be inaccessible, even via the Google workaround.

I see, thanks. They seem to mirror each of our main TV channels to an extent - Seven, Nine and Ten tend to lead the ratings with with ABC1 and SBS 1 being like Channel 4 and 5.

How strange, the Google workaround still works fine for me.

And for me. 2.66m for Doc Martin.

Adrian Chiles was presented with a rating similar to that which he got with MOTD, and yet hes increased his salary hugely. Pretty good business Id say.

BBC though still in a different league where the ratings are concerned and I dont think ITV can draw many crumbs of comfort from an overall figure less than three million. We would be saying that for any show less than three million in primetime on the main channels.

They stop me sometimes as well, but then other times it works.

BBC 2 DIVE 1.24m (5.9%

ITV1 Doc Martin 2.66m (12.7%)

C4 BB 2.46m (11.7%) 173,500 (1.9%) on C4+1.

Five The mentalist 1.82m (8.7%)

All figures seem low, but of course that could well be down to the very hot weather we have at the moment, and everyone is outside having BBQ's or doing other stuff, just to get out of the 'heat' indoors !

Mentalist back to its normal numbers which is good considering the weather hurt everyone else. I think it will hit 2m next week as it's the season finale.

Maybe a year too soon for the Doc Martin repeats? The new series is still over a year away, so they could have held back on the series four repeats until next spring or summer.

Like over here the process is ongoing now and is due to be completed by 2013.

And yeah, ouch again for Doc Martin. Probably a mixture of it being a year too early and the Moat coverage (I'd have gone with Benidorm series 3 repeats - I know they are no older but the series is due next year).

My Family may do better next week then.

Pretty good officials there. That's a current series average of 2.9m. Great to have Weds and Sunday with 3.2m, looks like its the actual evictions dragging the show down :/

The DM repeat is about 1m lower than I expected, but then again so is My Family and The Old Guys, so both should be up this week with poor weather predicted and no important live news coverage.

The only good performer in the 9pm slot seemed to be The Mentalist, surprising after 20 or so episodes it's still maintaining similar ratings to what it was getting at the beginning.
