And 'red button'. First time in years I've watched anything on 'red button', I can't have been the only one.

Tonight, it seems they're keeping it on BBC2/BBCHD for the duration.

Noticed a lot of Facebook/Twitter comments on Toy Story 2. May be nothing, but I get the feeling it will do very well.

Genius scheduling by the Beeb. I expect it will have done well.

It seems that the BBC seem to keep it going as it is a rare thing called a peak time sitcom- remember these, ITV on Mondays at 8pm, BBC1 on Thursday nights? However, it might be in peak time but certainly isn't getting a peak audience and is well past its best.

ITV is going to flop so badly tonight. This Odd One In thing is just so awful. The rest of the schedule looks equally dreadful.

Magic Numbers should do alright, its a classic concept, Stephen is a competent host and Holly Willoughby & JLS are guests. Odd One In was appalling, I switched off by 7.20pm.

So by watching 5 minutes of it you know it's awful.

It wasn't that bad, and it was better than 101 Ways To leave A Gameshow. It wasn't great though so I can't see it doing that well.

I saw the first two rounds (theres a positive, it moved fast) based around guessing who had a false beard and who was the dance partner of some roller blader. Assuming the format carried on all the way through, I think its safe to assume its a crap show with innane "odd ones in".

They do it as a one off feature on Celebrity Juice/Buzzcocks every now and again, they just took that and extended it to 45 minutes.

Yes all 3 of tonight's ITV1 shows and both of BBC1's shows have all been advertised.

After 8 minutes of Magic Numbers I've concluded that it's a Simon Cowell pre show for X Factor:

BGMT presenter
BGT runner up
Ex Xtra Factor presenter as a guest
X Factor runner up

Only just realise Claudia Winkleman used to host Talking Telephone Numbers reading wikipedia. I used to love that show.

Magic Numbers is utterly third rate.

Really can't figure out if this or Tonight's the Night will win this slot. Both are utterly dreadful but the public is already aware of how appaling TTN is so people may tune in to MN in the hope that it might be better.

Either way it's a truly ghastly choice from both the most watched channels on British television. Why was it this week that none of my friends invited me out?

I watched 101 ways earlier as I didn't see it last week (well not all of it), It was really slow.

Magic Numbers is much better than 101 Ways, but it's not exactly great, is it? And this is coming from a XF fan, they are blatantly forcing X factor down our throats.

I don't think there's anything wrong with Magic Numbers. How on earth can you have a "first rate" show of this kind which is basically about getting 6 numbers randomly throughout the show through various tasks/performances. It's okay for what it is. Production values don't have to be sky high like some of the big entertainment shows - it's just a cheap, summer show and it's better than some of the utter dross we've seen in past summers (Who Dares Sings anyone?).

I reckon it'll get between 3-4m and rate similar to Tonight's The Night, which will have the better lead-in than Magic Numbers.

My predictions for tonight

BBC1

101 Ways- 3.4m
Tonights The Night- 4.1m

ITV1

Odd One In- 2.8m
Magic Numbers- 3.7m

Can't really see much more for either channel. Dreadful line ups on both sides

My predictions:

Tonights The Night- 3.7m
Magic Numbers- 4.4m (i think having XF presenters and XF/BGTrelated acts in the show will help it)

101 Ways- 3.4m

JLS are a band in their own right thesedays, the fact that they were on The X Factor years ago is hardly connected.

They are also number 1 in the charts at the moment I believe, so there is a reason why they are on the show.

I wonder if Toy Story 2 will be today's most watched programme? Seems possible, although Casualty might edge it.

X Factor will use them to show what can happen if you apply

Incredible really. ITV have managed to mix together Talking Telephone Numbers, Britain's Got Talent, The X Factor, Golden Balls and the original Dutch version of Deal or No Deal. And it was awful.

Who are CPL Productions, never heard of them before?

(Odd One In, was an Endemol production by the way)
