complain about the crappy signal problem, so that i might get it sorted for free?

and the other stupid problem of it saying "no sim" after a while

i got the phone as an orange upgrade and i love it but im so tempted to send it back as whats the point in having a phone if you have no signal and cant make calls all the time!

argh!

just wondered if the apple store will just send me to orange so id be wasting my time

If it's saying 'no sim' you should send it back - presumably Orange are responsible as you've just got it.

It is covered under a years manufacturers warranty so you can take it direct to Apple. It appears to be a common problem with the iPhone so they might just replace your handset.

We had a problem with an Apple product (computer) and because it was under warranty they sorted it out straight away, even though we bought it at PC World. Their customer services has been excellent so far!

Got my iphone 4 exchanged for a new one today due to a faulty screen.

If you think you have an issue I would say give Apple a call and see if they can sort it out for you sooner rather than later.

I called up at 1pm and had new phone by 11am the following day. The customer service at every stage has been excellent. The fact their was a fault is not an issue to me, it's a bit of a pain yes, but as long as it get sorted out immediately I don't mind. A certain percentage of all products have or develop a fault, it's a fact of life. it's just bad luck if it's you.

The trouble is we are only going to hear about the faulty ones as there is nothing news worthy about an iphone that is working fine now is there?
