I was wondering the same thing last night. Anybody know? Is the actor ill?
I know his last lengthy disappearance was because the actor wanted a sabbatical, but surely they're not letting him bunk off again? |

He's gone to illegally import a vine from chile so that Rodney can make wine. Not sure where he is in real life. He'll probably turn up in Footballer's wives or summink! i have a feeling he'll not be gone so long this time, unless he gets arrested and leaves for good!

Emmerdale without slapstick just wouldn't work for me. If I want to watch something boring I know what channel EE is on, and every soap needs its on identity. Shadrak is so funny when Zac isn't around coz he's always trying to get into Lisa's knickers. Sorry I thought you were a guy. |

i just think that you can have comedy without having to resort to no-brain slapstick, that's all, i prefer Rodney's quips and Edna's caustic one liners. But at least it has something for everyone. |

i do like Shadrach. I know his humour is obvious, smutty and slapstick but it makes me laugh. But Edna's and Rodney's humour is also endearing. it makes a change from Katie and Robert (zzzzzzz) and a darn sight better than EE at the mo.

The glass is unlikely to have been real glass, particularly if it was intentional that it should break. Glasses on TV tend to be made of a sugar compound that breaks easily, although I still think that glass breaking was unintentional. |
