Iphone sub section?
Could we have one? Ive no interest at all in iphones but the entire first page, (ive not bothered looking any further), is taken up with iphone this, iphone that. Cant we just have an iphone sub section for all these threads?

Might be worth asking support if they could create one, if not at least merge some of the threads.

There simply isn't enough activity to justify this IMO.
Looking at the list of threads, there's just about enough activity on a daily basis to fill up one page with new/updated threads - and that's the week of a new iPhone launch. |

It's only because the new iPhone4 has just come out, it will settle down again soon. It's the same when a new Android phone comes out.
I just don't click on the thread titles that don't interest me. |

If you look at som other subforums in other sections such as sattalite, there are sometimes 4/5 days worth of new posts on just one page, so if they can do it on those furums with little activity, theres no reason why they can't here.
That split was also done for logical reasons, to ensure people got help relevant to the equipment (more specifically satellite) they are using. |

To be fair, a phone so fantastic with such a great OS does deserve it's own forum.
The forum can contain advances in technology that can then be copied and added to the other forums a few years down the line. ![]() The iPhone creates a buzz, and a lot of threads are talking about it. It would be best to get all the iPhone threads out of everyones way. We could also have an Android forum. Of course that would then need to be split like the "Gaming Platforms" forum, where each of the 100 phones that have android could have their individual experiences posted about. The android forum would also need to have (Beta) next to it - as it's a massive work in progress. |

For Christs sake put a sock in it, it's like having a non stop salesman on the board.
![]() . I read my posts in the mobile section from time to time and I do sound ridiculous at times.Technology is just so exciting at the minute and the advances over the past few years have been great. Was only in the year 2000 I have my first pay as you talk Vodafone mobile. . a black and white screen (well, green) , fat, but at the time I was fascinated by the fact the top was curved for your thumb and your thumb landed on the volume up/down keys. It's a great time to be enthusiastic about technology - sometimes I can't help it. |

Another vote for this. Let the iPhone fan boys and girls have their own little playground.
