I used to not mind her, I loved Love At First Sight and Slow and didn't mind CGYOOMH (grated after a while) but hated her older stuff. All The Lovers is also amazing and I been looking at some of her other stuff, I'm instantly in love with a lot of what's on Light Years and have even fallen for I Should Be So Lucky.

So hi there, I'm a new convert/addict

Major bump

Was watching the X tour earlier in the week - damn i wish i pleaded harder with my parents to let me go see her on that tour

Whats everyone's favourite songs/albums? Mine are X, Fever, Impossible Princess and Kylie 94

Favourite songs have to be More More More, White Diamond (either version), Breathe, Step Back in Time and The One

i like Kylie, while not a major fan, i do think she is fun.

I have her greatest hits, damn this thread was made WAAAAY back when Aphrodite was released!

time HAs flown, I must say i loved her most when she was a bit more experimental. My mum is a fan and i remember her havinv the Impossible Princess album and i quite liked it. Fever is really solid Electro-Pop however....really like that one

X is underrated, much prefer it to Aphrodite, yet Aphrodite was stronver in direction.....i cannot help but felt that the sounds on her albums sounded a bit outdated, but still fun nontheless

She is a very colourful character. But to be honest if i heard 5 sonvs back to back without variation, my ears my give in lmao! but like i said i do like her and gained respect for her so much more when she was diagnosed....it showed that even a pop icon is human!

Also seen footage of her recent tour, and of course seen Showgirl on TV and must say she is a fine performer

Yay a kylie one!!

Have been a fan for ages now, it's acutally coming up to 10 years when i first got fever.

impossible to choose just one song as my favourite, but in terms of albums, some of my faves are Aphrodite, fever rhythm of love, but they're all great (or most, some are just very good lol)

Amazing live performer, her shows usually have to be seen to be believed

Great to see an appreciation thread, im a fan of Kylie;s since her days in Neighbours so i have followed her music career since the very start and its great she is still going so strong. When Kylie;s first album was released many many critics and people said give her 1 year and no one will remember who she is, its actually great to remember that 25 years on knowing how wrong they were.

Ya she has definitly had her ups and downs, in 1999 i think most had written her off has a has been as impossible princess hadnt sold well in the UK and non of the singles set the charts on fire.

Funnily enough when i heard spinning around i was disapointed by it,i was glad she was making a pop return but on a night like this was really said kylie is back in my opinion and then of course the fantastic light years album arrived. I dont think to many people in 99 ever thought Kylie would become bigger than she was was.

i knew she was still living in london, so i excepted a return at some point. i completely agree about on a night like this!, much better than spinning around that is such a top song! comeback complete with that one!

I think in terms of Kylie fans on a night like this was indeed the statement that she was back, although i am not spinning arounds biggest fan i love what it did for career and will always appreciate spinning around for that, in some ways spinning around was her make or break single, had that flopped i dont think Kylie would be what she is today.
