I think I'm the only Kylie fan who liked "Word Is Out" never understood it's No.16 peak. My faves are "Wouldn't Change A Thing", "Love At First Sight" and "Better The Devil You Know"

Word Is Out has always been one of my favourite Kylie songs. I guess the reason why it charted at #16 could be because it's not as instantly catchy as the singles taken from Rhythm of Love. The song does have elements of new jack swing which was a little different for her at the time. Plus a lot of her younger fans were deserting her during the early 1990s. The fact that Finer Feelings peaked at #11 has always annoyed me.
If I did a top 10 Kylie songs, I would prefer in particular my no 10 to that of most other artists to emerge since Kylie. On a related note, I am due to decide my top 30 or 40 songs from 1968 on the August Bank Holiday. I wonder how many of them will have been in the charts the day she was born (28.5.68)? I shall then finally find out what my favourite song the day she was born was! Come to think of it, recalling POTP from 26.5.12, it must have been the Small Faces' Lazy Sunday.

Okay so...I am not the massivest Kylie fan....BUT i am intrigued about her upcoming album.....rumoured for next Spring release with a single in January (??) featuring Brooke Candy (whom i LOVE!)
Anyways been playing Impossible Princess recently...the only KM album i think i can truly say i LOVE very much...i love the blend of style son it and darker nature ....and hope she taps into that now she is with Roc Nation and working with these hip people...we shall see.I have enjoyed her previous flirtations with Urban music too in 1994 and on Body Language both solid good albums IMO too...so lets see. |

Anyone been listening to the stream of Kiss Me Once? I really like it. Parts of it remind me of X.
You can listen here http://www.theguardian.com/music/mus...e-album-stream Speaking of Timebomb. What a shame she never added it to the deluxe as a bonus single. |

I really like the Kiss me once album. I love her collab with Pharrell "I was gonna cancel". Initially Sexercise was cringe to listen to but it's grown on me. Into the blue was a great single. I went to Aphrodite tour a few years ago with a mate who's a huge fan. And while i was always more of a madonna, beyonce or gaga fan, I thought her live show was fantastic! I would def go see her again.

I decided my top 40 songs from the last 10 years today, and Kylie did make it with higher, her duet with Taio Cruz. Kylie previously made my Decade charts with songs from 1995, 1989 and 1988. So, even if she releases little new material now her longevity has meant a lot to me!

Ok so did you all see the Commonwealth Closing Ceremony?
It was The KYLIE Show as far as I was concerned.....she nailed it a really great treat and reminder of her stage presence and mixing the new material with fresh hits and old skool anthems and she looked fantastic! and on top form. Also finally orered and got Kiss Me Once today...it took me a looong time to get around it but honestly i think now it is my third favourite Kylie album. I love the flow and the Sia vibes felt like a great Fem Aussie team up there! with the mix of Old Skool Kylie sounds with some contemporary electronic rhythms and a nice really quite "beach" feel to it which i love it is a funky/disco album which comes across as a pure pop explosion...in many ways i feel it is like her MDNA or Michael Jackson INVINCIBLE in that it is a very underrated overall feel and hardcore fans have clashed/rallied against the material as well as w-nk over it but personally (while i feel Sparks, golden boy and Skirt SHOULD be on it) it is an all round near perfect pop explosion of an album. Also the artwork looks delicious...m second favourite artwork after Aphrodite. Fave songs - Fine, If Only, I Was gonna Cancel, Million Miles, Sleeping With The Enemy, Feels So good (Indiana by Tom Aspaul cover) and Les Sex Really wish i could see her live now....got the DVD of her last tour a couple years ago....and me and mum enjoyed it (she is the main Kylie fan in this household but was a treat) hmmm...anyways she puts on a great show and has a great lineup of songs to perform. how i rank Kylie Minogue albums - Impossible Princess Body Language Kiss Me Once Kylie 94 Aphrodite Fever X Light Years Rhythm Of Love Lets get To It Enjoy Yourself Kylie Minogue (not overtly keen on her PWL era at all...way too chessy and plastic in sound IMO) |

First four albums being released with extras. About time her debut is still her biggest seller and the albums have been out of print forever which is annoying fir newcomers.
Also I have yet to get KMO the first not to do so in 14 years it just hasn't pulled me in. I'll wait til the two for ten

Hmm, after digging around I think the £24.99 ones are the 2CD/DVD ones and the £12.99 ones are just the standard 1 CD album.
If you order directly from the website the deluxe oens are only £18.99 so not too bad. |

Exactly if you shop around I'm sure you'll be able to find the best deal possible
.Just glad they are back in print. Though I'm not a fan of them coming to her after Light Years it was annoying that the trail stopped at Kylie Minogue. |
