Is Kylie having a new album out soon ? I hope so, seems ages that last one lol

I WISH! But sadly I predict it'll be at least next year (and thats if we're lucky) before she even starts on a new album. The gap for her new material is normally about 3 years if not longer. Although I'd love her to just release random singles rather than go down the full blown album route just yet. That way she could just go in the studio and make one cracking song, release it, rather than going full blown into an album so close after her world tour.
But hey, what do I know!

Aphrodite was only released just over a year ago (shocking how time flies!) and her tour was just the past year!

But hey i have the box set on the way yall!

And of course there will be so many releases over this and next year also, I reckon that Kylie will be back in the studio after so many artists have returned and truly made their mark. I reckon she will be in the studio by this time next year to record her follow up to Aphrodite and release it late next year or start early for 2013.

I'd push more towards 2013 because she wanted to do that Kylie musical after her tour, didn't she? But then again we know what Ms Minogue is like with her work rate, in the next two weeks for all we know she'll have the musical all planned out and be ready to commission it, she works so hard and fast!

As a massive fan i have liked her since she was in Neighbours and me and dad collect all her music. I wish people took notice of her Impossible princess album which is my fav to date.

Her last album "Aphrodite" was only released last July, and her $25million world tour based on that album only finished in Cape Town, South Africa a couple of nights ago... Give her a little time. She's taking a well earned break until the end of next month.

She's an incredibly hard worker, and she's got a number of other things in the pipeline over the next 12 months or so according to Steve Anderson, her musical director... I wonder if she'll be on Jules Holland's "Hootenanny" again this New Year's eve for the 3rd time in 4 years? Hope so... She really brings extra something special. Genuine star quality I suppose.

Why so quick for her to come back with new music. god it's like some people expect artists releasing music every week. She could make more albums and release singles of them i say.

maybe a new DVD of her latest world tour would be an idea and re-releases of her PWL stuff with bonus tracks

She hasnt even finished with the last album yet! She confirmed in an interview with Dannii on mydaily this week that Put Your Hands Up will be released as the next single. Personally, I dont see the point given how poorly the other singles off the album did (apart from ATL). I reckon it will be 2013 by the time she releases her next album.

Put Your Hands Up has already been released. It came out download only last month, got to about #90!
I think she's just resting now. Her tour has just finished so she's taking a well earned break. I predict we'll get some new material late next year. Apparently she's planning on putting together an acoustic-type greatest hits.

I think a greatest hits collection is on its way, heard a lot of rumours on the internet. I really want the Aphrodite tour on DVD! does anyone know when it's out?

Fantastic stuff! A true Icon that Kylie is Fever and Body Language i think are my faves, although i do like X and Aphrodite.

And acoustic album (EP) would be very different and very nice! Like Cyndi Laupers The Body Acoustic album which was very nice. I think Kylie doing an album like that with a couple releases would be lovely and simple to do on her break for a bit

The tour is due at the end of September i believe. It's being released in DVD, Blu-Ray and 3D Blu-Ray according to her twitter.

I'd love a DVD/CD set. I can play it in the car then

And Still Standing on Body Language is amazing! How is this album so underrated?? 2003 was the year of Underrated Pop!

It is a very dark synth album! love it.

re-listening to the X album right now and it is a much better disc than i had originally thought!

I think Body Language and X are her best overall albums and looking back it seemed critics over-hyped the X album also but I think Aphrodite as an album sounds more "dated" than what people made out to be....still like it however!

Yeah if you have the albums then of course it shouldnt be forced unto you but £12 for them all on Play and Amazon is EPIC!

Just wish that her Previous 6 albums were available in a boxed set really. My mum only has Impossible Princess extra and not her first 5....cant blame her really and she has her debut album on cassette somewhere hehe!

I think the album i am most intrigued by is the Rhythm Of Love and Lets get To It albums! as they incorporate more New Jack Swing and House elements amongst the "cheesey/feel good dance" style songs. But hey i have her best albums now

Also i like how the boxed set is presented with images and albums altogether in one folded out booklet like a collage and each album separated with an image in each sleeve of Kylie and the album covers without the titles on like a canvas

I look forward to check these out! As i have really converted into a massive fan wit the boxed set! Seriously it is fantastic and I recommend more artists should re-release or release albums in a collective format together...it is £10 on Amazon now.

I mean if Madonna re-released her albums into discs of the remastered original album and had a bonus disc in each album of demos and had all 11 albums in there before the new album is released i would be in heaven! Also same for Prince, some dont wanna buy compilations and want the best albums of his work collectively, would be fantastic. Very impressed with it! Sure it isnt the jewelled case but the rpesentation is beautiful! Very recommended!

So no worries, and i think she needs a well deserved break, i think next time we see promo will be when Aphrodite is released on DVD. And then she will have time out next year and in 2013 we may have new material out (3 years per album seems to be the trick) and maybe FINALLY headline glasto!

Music wise i think 2012 will be a quiet kylie year and then 2013 will probably see a new album. At least we have the dvd/cd to look forward to in the mean time. I wont be buying the dvd/cd on release as i have alot of the songs already got live and seen the sky 1 showing of some of the tour. Over the last year or so im getting fed up with buying buying stuff on release and then a few months later seeing them sell for less than half the price, so i decided im goin to be more money conscious on releases from now on.

Well me and you do have such similar tastes it scares me! We may be Cornish and Irish and have different Tartans But at the end of the day we know what goes down!

And BL is flawless! I mean some Kylie stans rave about her albums but BL is the most to rave about yet it is the most unloved....strange! But hey! I love the 80s synthpop influence though! It is so retro and slick!

Body Language is such a good album....one of my favourites!

i loved 2003, where pop went experimental!

Her S/A/W stuff was awful, but everything since Princess has been good, I think.

X xould have been better though, I was disappointed with that.
