How good is this song?! LOVE kelis. her new direction's really working for her.

video's not a patch on acapella but it's still pretty to look at.

The beat is different from the album version, a little bit better and pumping IMO.

should be as successful as acapella if not more so i reckon. shame the album hasn't done so well (yet).

opnions?

I think it's alright, it's got a catchy chorus. I wasn't sure about Acapella but that was catchy as well. I hope this does well for her. Quite a summery song and will probably do well in clubs.

Love this song. Her whole album is fantastic. Better then anything from other dance artists like , Sophie ellis bextor, Calvin harris, Robyn and Daniel guetta.

I hope she does well with this as her singles do normally do well over here.

As a Kelis fan nothing on this album sticks out at me, I'm sure (and I truly hope) the album will grow on me. But this had made me realise that my initial love for Kelis in the early days of her career was more about my love for The Neptunes and their production rather than for Kelis herself.

agreed. i actually can't remember when i liked an album so much.

i played it so much i got a little sick of it, had a few days rest, then got into it all over again.

tracklist in order of my favourites:

1. home
2. 4th of july
3. brave
4. acapella
5. intro
6. song for the baby
7. emancipate
8. scream

while scream is definitely my least liked track, it's still good and interesting in it's own way. shouldn't be a single though, next single should be home, followed by brave, followed by song for the baby.

yes, i think this albums good enough to warrant 5 singles, and i think releasing that many and making hot videos for them will help people hear about and get into flesh tone.

Home may be a future single i read. I hope so, that is my fav from the album. The one song that never made my ipod was songs for the baby.

ahhh, scream is one of my favourite. other than that, my list would probably be the same.

Fantastic album. Have you heard her collaboration with Benny Benassi?

It's a brilliant song. It's a grower though, when I first heard it I wasn't sure - now I can't stop listening!

I hope Kelis gets the recognition she deserves with this album..

I enjoy it, should have been released a few weeks earlier though I think, the title makes it seem dated already

i don't think she will to be honest. with the exception of milkshake and tasty, the accompanying album, kelis has never recieved her due recognition. it's heartbreaking.

The club version of this is fantastic. I'm not too keen on the original version but the club version is definitely worth downloading, such a tune!

The album is a huge flop yet one of best album of her career personally. I never would have thought she could top her album Tasty but she did.
