Using Radio App on iPod dock
Mooncake

Hi

I hope this is the correct forum!

I want to buy an iPod dock for my iPhone. I want to be able to listen to digital radio through it.

Can I play DAB radio through the iPhone App and wifi (which I use when using headphones) or will I have to buy a dock with built in DAB?

I hope someone can help.

Thanks in advance.

The dock will make no difference to the iPhone's ability to play internet radio from a wifi network.

Any "App" you have at present will play streaming audio over the internet (not DAB) this will continue to work.

You can get an Intempo IDAB to enable any Ipod dock to receive DAB stations but it's another dongle to loose and isn't the most tidy solution - best bet is to get a Dock with DAB built in (and a 3.5mm audio input to allow any future portable device to be connected).
