bookcase for storing graohic novels and american comics
I'm struggling to get my collection organised and stored.
So I've decided I've got a spare wall for a tall and wide bookcase, where I will store the stuff I want to keep ... I'd really like to store the graphic novels vertically, so the shelves should be spaced apart approximately the height of a graphic novel ... Has anyone out there found a bookcase that matches graphic novels? If so, could you please post sufficient details (make and model of bookcase and where you found it ... hopefully on the web!) so I can get one as well ....? |

Build your own, it's cheaper than buying ready built bookcases and it'll be exactly the right size for what you want.
It's really not hard to buy some shelf brackets, planks of wood and some screws and wall plugs. Just make sure you use enough brackets (not just one at each end), a whole shelf of graphic novels weighs a lot. I put up 40 meters of shelves for my books and comics, probably cost about a tenth of what buying bookshelves would have. |
