A timeless classic.
Not the song, but the dancers.
Found THIS on You-Tube. It got me to thinking. Yes, they were incredibly sexy, but there was also a sort of naive innocence, in that they didn't cavort about the stage, in the way so many female pop stars do nowadays. Oh, for that gentler time again. |

Phwooooaaar.
I'm off for a 60s style w**k. Although I do agree, they were (in some cases, still are) gorgeous. ![]() I think they should release a DVD of some of the routines. I'm guessing you would need two copies, because of al the sticky fingerprints you would get on one copy

I haven't opened the link but I'm guessing that you're talking about Pan's People.
I'll have a look now to see if I'm right..... I knew it! I love that song, it takes me back to my youth. Dancing in the discos. Happy days. Mind you, Pan's People didn't so much dance, as prance. I remember we used to chuckle when their coreographer's name came up on the screen at the end of TOTP. Her name was Flick Colby. It was in capital letters and the L next to the I looked like a U. We were young.

In the 'olden days' it was always exciting
to wonder which track they would be 'doing' on TOTP. There were a few notable mistakes as well though. ![]() 'Legs and co'? Pah.

Delightful young ladies.
All we seem to get nowadays are homosexual men. |

Slighty off topic but playing all those other Chi-Lites links on there takes me back to the slow dancing at the end of every disco.
Kids these days are really missing out. Sad. |

Having only been born in 78, Im too young to remember this at the time. Isnt it funny the older you get the less things you can say you dont remember?
Anyway, having watched the beautiful Pans People in that video, I was mesmerised. It was like a sort of hypnotism |

It's the "girl next door" look that makes it so... and as the OP said "a sort of naive innocence".
