When will the three week waiting list go down from the Apple store?

In three weeks if you put your name down on the list now?

Waiting list? it's the 1970's all over again.

You'd think in this day and age they could supply enough, part of me thinks they limit the number on purpose to generate the hype, but if they made enough in the first place they would surely make more moeny.

Perhaps im just being synical.
