As to the second question, I don't think you are obligated to tell all your friends about job vacancies if they don't ask. If you want to tell them, then that's cool, but you are not obligated to.

About the online tests, it probablyy wouldn't be in their best interests if you did them.. Maybe the tests will be an example of what to expect in the job? Especially with it being a bank - numeracy? I dont know, it might just be better for them to do the tests? Its upto you, hard position as you want to help..

Ok thanks for the help guys for the first one he asked and he is one of the clients at the volunteer centre I work at... But I really don't want to do it as it goes againist all my morals and principles and they could easily figure it out because his numeracy is not to the same standard as mine... I am doing a degree in maths after all....

See I have just realised why I haven't got a job I only stuck to the online applications.. I never phoned in or went out of my way to hand in cv's .... yes I know surely thats the obvious... But I got bored one day and thought I would call ryman and straight away he said there is a job available... and thats when I realised what I was doing wrong! So for about 3 days I have just been phoning places and asking if they have any vacancies I will do the same till 1.00 tommorrow then I am going to hand out my cv's to the list of places I find... I think this will be more effective

Ah, finding a job is so hard at the moment, i'm in the same situation. I've been trying for ages now, mainly online as well though, but I'm going this weekend to hand my cv into places, it's never ending lol.
