Is it just me,. or is this series of BB, just like Ben Elton's book 'Dead Famous'. There's just one more thing we need, and that's murder!!!!!

No it's not and that's a very forced parallel.

No it's not just me, or no it's not like the book?

No it's not like the book. Enjoying your pedantic retort though.

I think that there are some similarities.

Perhaps the 'political activist' is ringing a few bells. Which, co-incidentally, is something that last year's lot managed not to do successfully.

For instance. every time I see Anna from series 1, I think of Dervla from the book.

But I think Fed's half right. If you look hard enough, you can force some parallels.

Of course. There are parallels to be drawn between each series of BB and the others, and books, and other "reality" shows. The list is endless if you look hard enough

There's Stuart's writing in the steamed up mirrors, but he's clever enough to have thought of that all by himself.

Some of the other bits we could do with from the book, the all being nude in a tent, that someone has a secret history of being a gay porn star actor. That might make things more interesting.
We've certainly got deranged production staff the way it's going now so just like in the book.

I loved Dead Famous - immediately, I thought Woggle when seeing Kitten. Victor's got to be the cockney one.

Wouldn't know, I haven't read anything by the loudmouthed, jumped up, sellout get.

I absolutely loved Dead Famous - Elton's sheer contempt for the whole reality TV set-up was palpable. Amazing that he didn't get sued by some of the BB1 and 2 housemates!

Last night Dan confessed to having done porno - so that's one down. Now bring on the tent....

Obviously, Dead Famous is VERY like BB1 - there's a character JUST like Anna, just like Sada, just like Nichola, to name but 3. But overall, it feels like they've modelled BB5 on the book Dead Famous! It's so caricatured it's unreal. Fed is talking (as per usual) bollocks.
