Didn't loose schedule..
Hello everyone - just a quick check in - has there been a firmware change recently or is it my imagination?
I set up some scheduled recording and season passes the other day and had to unplug the set for about 9 hours. At the end of niine hours plugged it back in again and my schedule recording list was still there, Is that normal? I don't dare test it again in case lose the schedule!! ![]() Patrick |

Yes, it's normal.
Are you thinking of the problem whereby if the box is in standby and is disconnected long enough for the PSU capacitors to discharge it will not go back into standby when power is restored and you will lose any recordings scheduled until someone turns it on? That's the limit of the problem. It doesn't 'forget' the schedule. |

The recording schedule is stored on the disc drive in a seperate partition. It's completely safe from power cuts. As already stated the title on the thread is inaccurate, loss of power does not delete the recording schedule it simply stops the hdr following it because it does not know the current time until it's manually booted.
