Vodaphone UK

I am getting really angry with Vodaphone at the moment, my Sim Card is no longer active according to the message on the Blackberry screen, the technical support team and customer services do not understand what has happened.

I have been on the phone now for over 1 hour..Here are other problems I have experienced:

1. If you call after 10pm to report a phone lost or stolen or anything major, be prepared you maybe waiting for a very long time...Monday night I was on hold for 1.5 hours and still never got through to anyone.

2. Certain times of the day including RIGHT NOW I'm back in a queue to speak to customer services ZZZzzz 20 mins so far still nothing

3. Where are Vodaphone Call Centres? Sometimes is very hard to understand what is been said due to interference with customer services, general bad quality and accents which don't even sound English hard to understand. I guess at least Vodafone don't transfer calls to India...

4. Calls keep dis-connecting you in a very long queue then suddenly the music stops, then it's rings, then the line is dead.

Can somebody please give me a telephone number to a department within Vodafone that can actually help me, maybe a customer relations department or something

Keeps saying on my Blackberry 'SIM NOT PROVISIONED' : 2

Technical department spent 30 mins trying to solve the problem = Would not work

Then transferred to Customer Services = Advised that somebody tried changing the telephone number on my account at 12: 34pm today - How strange this was the first time I made the call to them...

Advised to do a battery pull = Still doesn't work

Vodafone customer services advisor kept tutting and cut me off...

Contacted customer services again 25 min wait...

Advised me to go to my local Vodafone store to get new sim card, advised was very unhappy after spending nearly 3 hours on phone then having to go on tube to collect new sim on my day off.

Vodafone offered £10 on my account (Still very angry at this point)

New SIM CARD inserted guess what: same error message shows.

Called head office as previous staff refused to transfer me to a manager..

Head Office do not have a specialist 'compaints/customer operations department' so now I have been told to wait until a manager rings which could be in the next 7 days

Is there any way your handset could have been reported as lost or stolen? The staff in stores can check the IMEI of your handset against the blacklist to see if this is the case.

In point number 1 he says he called the lost/stolen phone line. I wonder if he asked for a block on his account and hasn't had it removed.

According to a specialist department (You get transferred to them if you make more than 4 calls per 24 hours at to Vodafone) the previous x2 sim cards I have been given by retail staff have been corparate sim cards and not a consumer one which has caused network issues to my phone.

I will go back into the store for my 3rd sim card to ask for a consumer one and will not be leaving without my phone working.

Theres no such thing as a corporate sim card.

We have toolkit sims which are for contract customers, microsims for ipad and iphone 4 customers and blank pay as you go sims.

If you go to store, ask them to check your account to see what bars were placed on there. Also ask them to check your imei against the database, it's not beyond the realm of possibility that your handset has either been reported lost or it has been entered into the imei barring system incorrectly. Take a proof of purchase with you just in case, so that if this is the problem, the request to remove the bar can be done promptly.

If this is not the situation ask the store staff to call number support and they will have a look deeper into your account.
