If you call them up you might be able to get them to block that number from calling you.

Yes they can do that. Have a look at http://www.o2.co.uk/nuisance

O2 will change your number once only free of charge. After one change of number it costs £35. The number is changed there and then over the phone. You don't require a change of SIM card or anything like that. The new number can be issued within minutes.

Yeah O2 are open from 8am. Just call 202 from your mobile.

You said you have an iPhone contract. Well I will assume that it's the iPhone 3G or the 3GS. There is a application you can download if your device is jailbroken and that is iBlacklist. It's one of the main reasons I decided to jailbreak my old 3G in the first place.

With that app, you can block out any numbers you want, including witheld numbers but with that, it will either block all or none of the witheld numbers which can cause problems if your expecting important phone calls from possibly witheld numbers.

iPhone doesn't have that option. When someone is calling you can obviously reject the call though. I just put my phone on silent once I've gone to bed just in case I get a call at stupid o'clock in the morning.
