Neighbours slang, will it catch on in Britain ?

Scott's favourite saying seems to be anything with "Cack" in it,
ie : "what do you do for a cack ? "

I wonder if it will ever catch on in Britain.
That and "mole".

No, but calling everyone "mate" seems to be the way in the south.

Good thing too!

Good old Neighbours though...it's quality at the moment Easy viewing and all that, and good relief from the doom and gloom that is the UK soaps.

And from reading up on what's happening in Austrialia right now, it looks like it's gonna get even better with regards to a certain storyline involving Karl & Izzy!

(you can tell who the neighbours watchers are at work - "no worries" and "arvo" seam to have been picked up by a few of us)

yes I know, but in Oz it's also short for cackle.

How about "flaming galah !" ?

I think a great episode of Neighbours would be Karl and Izzy getting stuck in lift! Lol.

Not sure if I've ever heard it on Neighbours, but certain Home and Away characters have used the phrases "hoon" and "hooning around" in the past. not watched it for years though.
