Maybe who knows, that was just my expression really. I have however read a few things that state she is heavily into porn and a few other things and that does not bother me but i find it strange the way she was so open about it at the beginning. To me that was a bit of putting and something that most people discuss later on when it comes up.

Same way that Victor put me of going on about the size of his penis or whatever, and the blonde air steward is he maybe an attention seeker but i haven't really formed an concrete opinion on him but he may well be.

I also do agree that Jon's analysis seems to be pretty spot on.
Maybe i would slate the men a bit more but as i am not male it doesn't bother me as much as the females.

I agree, Edna. So far, BB5 just feels weird.

I do like the idea of the possibility of the £100K prize money being reduced according to the progress of the housemates, and the architectural changes to the house with the lowered ceilings and raised floors. The house looks like something out of Barbarella, but the colour is off. At least now I know what green metallic snot would look like.

The housemates are the main problem. They all seem brash, colourful and dynamic *on the surface* but once you actually start watching, none of them have the charisma to really draw you in and engage you. Kitten is much-lauded as a supposedly multi-faceted, "controversial" character but she just comes across as crass, obvious and a complete crashing bore to me.

The whole appeal of BB used to be that voyeuristic fascination in watching a group of disparate personalities interact and the often subtle, slow, incremental way those interactions would gather momentum and form situations. Now it's all just thrown in front of you - bringing in a screaming queen and then a homphobe etc. There's no authenticity, just a dull, predictable, soulless exercise in trying to make substance out of appalling mediocrity. When I watched Davina cheesing away last Friday, there was the palpable sense that BB is crap, that everybody involved in it knows that it is crap, but heck, it's going to make money anyway.

Basically, BB is the drunk lying in the gutter who doesn't realise that time was called a long time ago.
