It looks like it! Basically twice the brightness of 15/70 IMAXes(!), better than 4K resolution though perhaps not as great as film. But it sounds like it will do!

This doesn't seem to answer the aspect ratio question directly though. But this trade journal article about a demonstration to professionals said it showed "the first 4K digital versus 15/70 film 'shootout' at full 4:3 giant-screen aspect ratio," and gives a specific (huge) bitrate for 4:3 projection. So all being well the true giant screen experience will still be with us.

At least that's the focal point of the trailer for it I remember way back when it was first shown on C4.
