Nothing better to do last night, so I watched a recording of this one I made last week. Very 1970's and very well done, but the ending was a bit of a mess. (
Potential spoilers ahoy) For anyone who's seen the film, you'll know what I mean when I say: Why did they drive the bus so
slowly through the 'gauntlet'? And why did hundreds of armed police stand around while various folks (one of whom was a civilian, no less!) start shooting at each other? And why did that villainous bigwig think he could get away with telling everyone within hearing distance that he'd issued an order ("I told you to kill them all!") that was not only unconstitutional, but plainly illegal to boot?!!...
A Hollywood movie that thinks we're all stoopid. Imagine that...
