Well OK. Nokia then. . .BlackBerry make good business smartphones. They're even getting some nice casual social marketshare now. I would say a BlackBerry is more suited to business than some Nokia phone.

Honest to god I don't care who actually has the greater share.

It was really relevent to my posts about touchscreen being much better than screen+physical button anyway.

Shocked that Apple are only 2% behind the business phone behemoth of rim though.

I have a blackberry because it isn't touchscreen. It suits my needs. I also have an ipod touch but this just confirms that a blackberry (with a keyboard) is what I need for everyday use. I love my ipod for the fun side

Maybe it's a girly thing but as someone with long nails I do not get on with typing on my ipod. I use 1 finger and it's very slow. Now give me my blackberry and both my thumbs can work at record speed. It's got nothing to do with effort. I agree with horns... for myself anyway the touch screen is nowhere near as good for typing) On the other hand my daughter is a whiz on her iphone. Each to there own

I'm on my Clock application. . .I want to check the time in various cities. . .does the Blackberry have a dedicated key for "Japan", "Ireland", and "London"?

I must have missed all these dedicated keys hidden somewhere on the front of the Blackberry Bold.

All I see are a series of keys that are suitable for typing - and that's it.

All those same keyboard keys are then shoehorned into Apps that the hardware doesn't know even exists.

For the record to the person talking about the keyboard taking up half the screen - if you're typing, you only need to see the words you're writing and this is perfectly possible on iPhone. The screen is also about twice as large as the Blackberry bold for example. . .so with a Blackberry half your entire phone is taken up by keyboard let alone half the screen ”

None of the things you mention hinder my use of my blackberry. If you prefer the iphone then great! But don't try to get smart with people who prefer the blackberry. Surely it's their prerogative.

I don't care about the keypad or touchscreen.

All I know is the Blackberry knocks spots of the Ipod for Email. I have no faith in the Iphones email.

I love my blackberry I like the buttons and it's simple and easy to use. I used to have a touchscreen but it was unresponsive sometimes and it annoyed the heck out of me.

I have a work Blackberry phone and an Android personal phone, funnily enough they both suit their rolls superbly. I don't regret that I can't do any DJ Mixing at work or I can't access my work email and documents while I'm down the pub.
