Putting to one side the teasing of Dan, who says he loves to 'convert' straight guys, Jason seems to be the one in control here and Dan seems reluctant to rise to the challenge because he's actually talked to Jason. He (Dan) seems a bit unsure at the moment - something I'm convinced he's not used to feeling.
He (Jason) seems to realise the 'effect' he has on people (men and women) and usually waits for the other person to make the first move. He then appears to have contempt for himself after sleeping with them. The maintaining of his physique seems to be a defense mechanism to stop him having to actively search for someone and try to find someone he feels some affinity with.
He's said he has no 'closeness' with his adopted family and no knowledge of his real family and if this is true, it's not a minor thing at all. Our families are the be-all and end-all, regardless of how maddening they can be - they are what makes us 'us' and accept us no matter how awful we are (usually). Whatever our motivations, ambitions, if we're honest our families are more important than we would dare admit.
If the adopted thing is true, then there is a lot more to Jason than meets the eye and certainly more to him than is afforded in this thread. It is a small (very small) possiblity that he applied for this show as a 'what the hell do I do next' kind of thing.
If he is being honest, then perhaps he is the only one gone in there with real reasons behind the whole experience and wants to break the cycle he's in.
If it's not true, then fair enough, the comments here are justified but from what I can see, there's been moments he's been extremely candid and uncomfortable with it.
I think he's the most fascinating person in there at this moment in time. Whether that's good or bad is something that'll come to light over time.
