Is phone net browsing more addictive?
2 weeks I got the Sony Ericcson Vivaaz (u5) and I have to say that I am now addicted to surfing the web with it using Opera Mini Browser.
I am on it for hours on end even when I have a laptop in front of me - idle. Is phone net browsing more addictive than computer net browsing? |

I wouldn't say I find mobile browsing addictive but it would certainly be strange to live without it.

I know what you mean, I sometimes find myself on the net on my phone for the sake of it! The internet on the mobile phone really has taken off tenfold the past couple of years.

I've caught myself watching YouTube vids on my phone whilst sat in front of my iMac.
It's bananas ! |

Yeah I used the net now and again with my iPhone 3G but since I got the iPhone 4 it's so fast and a very nice experience that I use it more than my mac. I do with the digital spy forums was a little more mobile friendly though, it's not a terrible experience but definitely could be better.

I even surf on my phone when I am waiting for my PC to boot up.

Not really for me. Much slower, smaller screen etc. Rather use my laptop.

Been using mobile Internet for a few years now. However I use it alot because my phone is always close by. Now with a iPhone 3GS it's at last a joy to use. The Safari browser is great and the touch keyboard is nice to use. However I don't find anything more addictive or appealing with Mobile browsing. If I had an iMac in front off me idling I would not be using my phone. Now the iPad would be different! I think it would become very addictive to surf the web on the iPad. The web is in your hands and feels more interacive than on the iPhone. Plus that large touch keyboard would be amazing to use.

Yes. When I didn't have my iPhone I only bothered to post here (before I changed my name) a few times every few days.
Since I changed my name and started typing on my phone I always go to this site to type rather than sit listening to music on the bus etc. If I'm not doing anything I'll just go on this site and have abuse hurled at me. |
