If this spec is true this is going to be one fantastic handset. The only downside is yes its Windows.

Shame they're going to ruin it with Windows, it looks impressive otherwise.

Considering nobody has really had a chance to properly used Windows Phone, I dont think its fair to dismiss it. This looks like a beautiful piece of kit!

Time will tell I guess. They are capable of getting things right, Windows 7 is excellent and a huge step up from the god awful Vista. Maybe they'll carry that through to the mobile platform.

I think theyve taken their time to realise that the older version of WM was outdated by a good few years. Hopefully the new system will be interesting!

I hope so, a little competition never hurt anyone.

What's the purpose of the 1GB ROM? Is that to store the OS?

yes. This is just a concept, therefore not real.

Microsoft had Windows ME at that time. Mac OS 9 was nothing to write home about, but certainly better than Windows ME. OS 9 was more on a par with Windows 98SE.

Having said that I think people will have to wait and see how good Windows Phone 7 is. It really isn't Windows, I think Microsoft should have called it something else like Microsoft Mobile.
