iTunes shows welcome to iTunes when I boot up
I hope someone can sort this it's driving me nuts. Today when I booted up and started iTunes it came up with the start box, it shoudln't do as iTunes has been on my PC for 3 years. So I clicked cancel and it showed everything as it should. I tried updating, it still did the same even after a reboot. So now it comes up with the start box after every boot up, i don't want and can't be dealing with this all the time. Any ideas as to what is causing this?

The iTunes start screen comes up after every update, have you recently updated your version of iTunes?
As the last poster said, hitting "ok" will sort everything out. Hitting cancel will show the start screen every time you open iTunes. |

When iTunes starts up look in the left hand bottom or right bottom corner for a box with some writing saying something like show when startup. Unclick the box and press ok and hey presto when iTunes next boots up it will not show the startup screen.
