Did Live BB hide Kitten to boost C4 ratings?
Inspiration
03-06-2004
On the Live Stream Kitten was called to the diary room at exactly 10pm, just as the Channel 4 BB started.

Kitten remained out of all camera views until seconds after the C4 special show ended, and appeared to have been sitting on the sofa.

My question is did the BB production team intentionally ensure Kitten could not be seen on the live feed to cause more ratings on C4, or was it just a pure coincidence?

of course they hid her. It's all about the ratings.

It was just pure coincidence...you have got to remember that the VIEWERS thought there was an eviction...channel 4 said nothing about it...

how many people can watch live and watch c4 at the same time. Not many, i'd imagine

And out of those that can, not many would watch both simutanoeusly. so i doubt it was any thing like a ratings booster.

More likely who ever was to talk to kitten was busy preparing the show and once the "play" button was pushed they were free to go and have a chat with Miss smith.

The producers will be loving the speculation on these here forums. They're toying with us. Casual viewers aren't as clued up as most of you and they'll have known that the more ardant viewers will be watching it live on e4 prior to the highlights show. Removing Kitten only heightened the speculation.
