According to page 6 of this week's Radio Times it does. Referring to BBC Television Centre it says, "Next month its studios will host the eighth series of Strictly Come Dancing."
Does SCD start next month?
Its normally September and with less couples this year i cant see them starting it earlier than normal but i could be wrong
It may start earlier this because the BBC has The Common Wealth Games to show as well as SCD this year

The final is always the Saturday before Christmas, so it can't start earlier than the last week in September.
Plus the touring pros need a holiday!
And then time to train the celebs, they normally get about 3 weeks before the show starts....

They may just have the studio from then to rebuild the set....

The set is broken down every week overnight on Saturday and rebuilt again on a Thursday. Studio One is used for many other programmes during the Strictly run and they couldn't afford to leave the set up for the duration.
