no. but i've spent plenty of time in courts, being disobedient, even refusing to wear clothes in the court, and often gaining the judges respect and winning my cases. primarily because i do not accept that the judge or anyone else is superior or more powerful than myself. i genuinely believe in people being equal, including judges. disobedience doesn't always have to be confrontational either, it can often be affective through politeness, thoughtfullness and articulacy.

Granted there are times when resisting authority is important and worthwhile, but disobeying all rules for the sake of it is pathetic and a seriously bad example to others.

The second part of my comment was purely meaning kitten and I wasn't thinking that about you but I eroneously gave the impression that I was.

There's nothing wrong with thinking that you are superior to someone even if they are in a position of authority as long as your reasons have some validity. I don't see why you refuse to accept that some people have more power than others. People are not equal though. Disobedience is not wrong per se but if you agree to be obedient of your own free will you should accept the consequences and not renege on the agreement.
