And I don't mean anything to do with bra-straps showing.

What exactly has Kitten ever done? She is down as a "political activist" but I read this simply as "unemployed".

Her main raison d'être seems to be anarchy but has she ever contributed to society financially or practically to justify complaining about The System? And how does she live in the real world? Who pays her rent/mortgage? Who buys her food?

If she works and pays her tax and NI etc then I shall simply shut up and never say more on this, and admit that my prejudices has coloured my opinion of her in this case.

BUT...

Sorry to go O/T straight away, but why are her brassieres grey? That's just tacky tacky tacky. Either buy some new ones or get the Vanish out!

Her gaydar profile (there's a link in another thread somewhere) says she's a part time sexual health worker, and I think I read she does other stuff working with teenagers.

Because if it's anarchy of the "Daddy is funding me while I protest against the State" type, then, frankly, she's a ignorant fool who needs a healthy dose of reality.

Is she an anarchist or merely a spoiled brat?

I read that she works for Connexxions.. what they do is bascially help teenagers make life decisions... ie work vs. university etc.

Good grief! It`ll be interesting to see if she still has a job after her protests on the show.

Unbelieveable.

Oh f**k, no wonder the youth of today are going to the dogs. or in her case work vs. university vs. dossing about and claiming to be an activist.

I believe Connexions are also a sort of counselling service where teens can go with their problems - correct me if I'm wrong!

I wouldn't want someone as damaging as Kitten advising my daughter or son on anything, let alone personal problems! I want my kids to be able to face up to things in life, not learn to play pass-the-blame-it's-all-everyone-else's-fault.

It gets worse, I bet Conexions are just loving the publicity

I am not a parent, but I would question an organisation that has partime councellors that are barely ten years older than the teenagers. How can she give advice on what is best uni. or going out onto the hard road of life at 16.

so even though you are responding here to her WORKING for connexions, you still manage to pass off the stereotype that she does nothing.

kitten has always been prepared to take the consequences of her own actions.

she also articulated that the use of collective punishment (where someone else is punished instead of her) is big brother's choice, not hers. therefore she is correct in saying its not her fault that someone is getting evicted.

If she had any decency about herself and some respect for others, she`d walk out rather than let another HM take the rap for her actions.

I doubt she`d do it though.......she`s loving the attention.

It IS her fault someone is getting evicted, ALL the HMs were informed by BB that one hm had 2 'strikes' any more and ONE hms would be thrown out, she knew it was her and she continued to defy BB, hence BB has taken the step of threatening to evict a housemate. Even though she knew it may not be her that is evicted she continued disobeying BB, with no thought of the consequences to her fellow hms of HER actions. Therefore it is her fault.

But it can't be her fault because she says it isn't.

And what's wrong with that? It's Big Brother. The object of the game? To get everyone else out before you.

Solid play.

big brother could have simply thrown her out because of her rule breaking, but instead big brother CHOSE to opt for the "drama" of collective punishment.

nobody should ever tolerate collective punishment as a legitimate means of making someone compliant. so once faced with this threat kitten had little choice but to continue disobeying.

Big Brother is about collective responsibility.............so why shouldn`t that include collective punishment?

Anyway, as I said previously......if she`s a person of principles why the heck doesn`t she get her activist butt off the sofa and walk out of the house?!
