Could we have a Kitten poll?
maggie
04-06-2004
On every Kitten thread, there are people who hate her, love her, but there are also people who hate her but want her to stay for the entertainment value. I can't get a feeling for whether the people who want her to stay, whether they like her not, are in the majority.

Is there any chance we could we have a "Do you want Kitten in the house?" poll?

No two ways about it.

Love her or hate her, if she goes so do the viewers.

Do you think so? I'd still watch -- hell, I watched last year, and we know how sad an experience that was.

Kitten has hogged the spotlight and provided drama, but I think a lot of viewers would stick around even if she wasn't there.

I'd still watch if Kitten goes. Don't care either way tho, what I care about it how she will take advantage of the publicity when she gets out of the house.
I just hope she doesnt become some sort of political celebrity.

I'd rather she stayed, but if she went I wouldn't be as interested in the eviction votes - I couldn't give a toss who went out of say Jason vs Shell, Shell vs Vanessa and Vanessa vs Jason.

Kitten spices things up.

I think I'd be more interested in whats going on if Kittens not there than if she is.
But the problem is they have nothing to do, give me a house with the HM's doing a task WITH Kitten and I'll give you my opinion then. Thats what BB is supposed to be about, but depricing them of things to do of course someone like Kitten is going to take advantage.

We've already got a Kitten poll.

You'll find under the more diplomatic title 'Who do you want out first?'

I would love to see Kitten out.

Yes, she might be getting a bit of interest now, but her antics are growing more tedious by the day. She is the worst housemate in the history of Big Brother UK. They've never, ever had such a foolishly self-righteous contestant.

Remember, first and foremost, this entertainment programme we all enjoy is suppose to be a game. If someone continues to break the rules, they should punished or penalised, not someone else!

BB said a housemate would be evicted; in other words they didn't say it WOULD NOT be Kitten, did they? They simply said it could be anyone, which was a clever attempt to force her to behave. She still could go tonight.

The benefits of dumping Kitten like a load of dirty cat litter can't be under-estimated. Whether people like her or hate her, she has continued to dominate the C4 highlights show. She will continue to dominate it because she will not stop acting out. People will get bored of it quickly. They already are, I think. Evicting her will mean that the other characters in the house will be given more screen time and other stories will develop.

The Stuart/Michelle thing can only get better. It's dawned on him that she is a bit of a scrubber and mates will be laughing at him. He will back away, it will get awkward, it will be fun to watch!

There are so many other characters in that house this year, if Kitten goes, in a week, she will be soon forgotten. She is ruining what should otherwise be the best series of BB yet.

My guess is, whenever she is told she has to leave, she will refuse. Expect to see dragged out of that house by the security guards, kicking, screaming, biting and scratching!

I agree with that. Kitten is entertaining to a degree, but I'm getting a bit tired of her taking on BB. I too would like to see some serious tasks for at least three to four days at a time.

I see your Kitten and raise you a Stuart..

No, no, no. It's a gameshow, not a court of law.

And I'll eat my hat. As I've said a thousand times.. There is NO WAY that C4 will surrender the potential killing that they'd make from the public's phone and text votes.

That's silly. I maintain that it's up to the other housemates to outshine Kitten. Do something interesting and it WILL get screened. Simple.

Can't see any potential in that. They'll just avoid one another, if anything. Nor do I for one moment believe that it's "just dawned on him that she's (Michelle's) a bit of a scrubber".. Come on.. Pull the other one - It's pierced.

She's not ruining anything. She's made this BB the most talked about TV show this year, so far.

But that's boring and you won't be watching, right?

Well I dont complete agree with you but you do have some points hippy. But you must see she only wants to do good.

I am agree with you that the editing is making her look bad. Ch4 ,I guess don't like strong gay women only use them for porn and to turn straight men on. I am sure she is really nice but the BB don't show you all the good she does.

you are much better with the words than me so I only hope you can do more with them to help shelter the kitten
