Two different EPG entries
Max Demian
06-07-2010
I've just checked the EPG for tomorrow (Wednesday 7th), BBC1 from 23:15 to 01:05. It shows MOTD:2010 FIFA World Cup for 23:15 to 00:15 (with an appropriate description on pressing i) and a complete blank for 00:15 to 01:05.

If I do a Genre search it shows the film The Man without a Face (the alternative programme) again with an appropriate description on pressing i.

How the hell can it have two different entries in the EPG for the same period? No wonder the machines get confused by all the schedule changes.

(I have a 9200T with software .23.)

Got the same thing on my PVR-8000T, my Panasonic box has the film listed in the EPG. World Cup Live occupies the 19:00 to 19:30 EPG slot on my 8000 as it did Tuesday until the programme started then the time slot was extended.

This is an issue with the Humax PVRs on software .23 not displaying changes to the schedule correctly. Humax are aware of the issue and are investigating. See the recent posts in the thread here.

Obviously the Hummy stores this data in two different places.

Last week the episode of Midsomer Murders that ITV ran when they weren't showing the football came up on a search as being on twice at exactly the same time/channel.
