is BB broadband worth it?

Im thinking of signing up to BB broadband

1) Is the quality any good? Does it have to buffer a lot or is it smooth?

2) Are things still cut out like on tv, or is everything uncensored.

3) Are there any breaks in it, or any times it goes down?

4) Is there any limited period to which you must sign up for, or if you dont like it can you cancel after a month.

Cheers!

1) The quality is excellent - very smooth.

2) The stream appears to be the same as the E4 one, with sound dips but with no adverts.

3) I've not experienced any down-time with it up to now.

4) The option to cancel is provided in the RealOne Player welcome e-mail.

I would recommend the use of the viewer at http://www.bbviewer.co.uk/ which is a 'debloated' version of the RealOne viewer (no irritating logo at the side).

Hope that helps.

thanks Im sure i heard somewhere that the internet version had different rules from the TV and so there would be less dips, but never mind!

Try and get it if you can. I second everything Piranhaville said above.

Did anybody else have this problem with switch/solo ?

Yes, it's excellent. I have the RealOne Superpass Europe thing and streaming quality is excellent, can zoom it to full screen and it still looks good.

The new RealPlayer has live pause and rewind (a bit like Sky+ etc) so you can pause the live stream too if the phone rings, or something.

I'm tempted, especially as BB is turning out to be very eventful this year!

Won't let me pay with Switch either. Tried with various browsers but no luck. How do you do the "issue no." when it no longer exists? Real being american do not seem to realise this.
