o2 home phone activation help

We got connected to o2 home phone on Monday, but it stated on the email that we would still be charged for BT calls on that day.
It's just to confirm that if I had to call now, I would be charged via o2 and not BT?

Also, we're on the anytime package - am I right in guessing that I can call australia completely free of charge, dependant on that I hang up after 60 mins?

Best to speak to either 02 themselves or BT.

Hi Ryan,

On your go live date, you should've got an email/sms notification which would say that "any calls for today will still be billed from your previous provider and O2 will be charging from the tomorrow (the very next day)"

So, if you're on the anytime package and you want to utilize your free 600 mins then you’ll have to wait until mid-night.
