Audrey's Financial Struggle Storyline?
Didn't Audrey take out some kind of loan to help save Gail from losing her home after being left broke by Richard? Do you think they will do a storyline with Audrey struggling to pay the repayments whilst keeping the loan a secret from Gail or have the writers totally forgot about this?

I know this is off topic, but what happened the Eileen's loans. A few months back she was worried sick how to repay them and it looked like a plot was developing with unscrupulous loan sharks, but I must have missed how she repaid her debts.
Does anyone know? |

Audrey took out a £40,000 loan to help out Gail as she was nearing bankruptcy after Richard died. She had to take the loan out against her house (or business cant remember which) as she didnt have the money herself to help Gail. If im right I dont think she actually told Gail it was a loan. Yeah this story is totally forgotten. When she offered to pay for the big church wedding I remember thinking to myself how she must make a fortune in that tiny hairdressers, she can pay off a £40,000 loan, pay for a big wedding and spend every night in the pub!!

Isn't Audrey a member of the local council? Maybe she's claiming false expenses?

Does anyone know? I hope we don't have a financial difficulty storyline - I find them a bit boring. As for Audrey, I don't think she'll have too much of a problem - she owns her house outright, plus her salon and the flat upstairs (so she has the rent from that), plus I know she put some of Alma's inheritance into Richard's schemes, but she will have some of that left - and maybe something else that Alf left her ? |
