I just find it strange that people have almost forgotton how good these artists are:

J-Lo
Christina Aguilera

Many fans have just moved onto other artists. Like Keshaaaaa. ss

J-Lo only had a few decent songs and Christina has had one giant fall from grace. Shame really!

Oh please.

Christina is in a career slump, but she's hardly forgotten. People are so dramatic.

As for J-Lo, she isn't forgotten either, she's still starring in movies every now and then. Her pop career hasn't set people alight in a while, but again - hardly forgotten.

James Morrison is a bit forgotten after a brilliant start.

J-lo's music doesn't do anything for me but christina aguilera has one of the best voices in music, so i hope she makes a comeback.

i agree with edbospursfan, james morrison needs to bring out more music.

I think J-Lo and Christina just left too long between albums. And they probably (mistakenly) think they can trade on their name alone rather than do promotion over here. Also their new material is weak and just isn't relevant. Listen to "Not Yourself Tonight" and its pretty obvious why it got no radio play, it just sounds dated and doesn't have a proper melody. And the only songs I've heard from J-Lo recently are Loubitons and Fresh Out The Oven - both rubbish.

There's so many strong female stars around at the moment, i.e. Beyonce, Rihanna, Lady Gaga etc. Why would a casual pop fan choose to buy a Christina/J-Lo album over those?

I loved Rebirth by J-Lo though. If she released something as good as that again, I'd buy it.

J-Lo simply just can't sing, her voice is crap and the only way she even sound close to decent is on over produced studio recordings. Christina is at the other end of the spectrum, Celine Dion once say Aguilera has the best voice in music today, that's a strong statement coming from a Diva. She just need to connect with the right material and she could be back on top. J-Lo's career in music (probably in film as well) is all but over.

Celine is a little forgotten. She doesn't do well in terms of sales like albums and singles but she does a kick ass a tour in las vegas that almost everyone goes too so it's no worries there

Cher - But she is retired plus we will see her in the new Xtina movie, but speaking of Xtina

Christina is hardly forgotten. Isn't she the blonde that did that album Bio something? Come on. Let's be real now

That top selling smash hit record of the year, Bionic.

Cher will always be a legend.

That number 1 album which fell a record 28 places in 1 week?

She hasn't been forgotten, but she is definitely less popular (at the moment) than she used to be.

Cher is old. She isn't forgotten, she just isn't releasing anything. The same goes for Celine Dion.

J-Lo didn't do anything for me until Brave. Which funnily enough is her weakest seller.

Do Is Well was a great pop song, it should have done better

I would say sophie ellis bextor. I know she is releasing music at the moment, I'm not her biggest fan but she has released some good pop songs. she does seem to get overlooked.

agree also artists like Kelis, who just seem to be able to only get one decent charting from one album.

J-Lo was never good. She relied on her boyfriends/flirtations to for production or collaborations and that is what seemed to give her hits.

James Morrison is absolutely brilliant. Broken Wings was a terrific song. I don't think he will ever release a smash hit, but his music is timeless.

Christina made the mistake of trying to make herself into something she is not. She has a brilliant voice and in the past has been so creative. Yes she has changed her image with practically every album - but this time, the results were not good. She has just transformed into a clone of what already is out there. She isn't offering anything new! Come back original Christina!

Sorry! Was watching Family Guy and Quagmire was talking about Wings...

Wasn't Jamelia dropped by her record company?

I would hardly say that! He did his biggest UK tour ever last November/December, he's also doing some outdoor shows this summer and supported Stevie Wonder at Hyde Park just a few weeks ago. Considering he's 'between albums' he's actually stayed in the spotlight a fair bit.

Debelah Morgan! I remember her! Dance With Me. A one hit wonder. She has a really good voice, but she seemed to want to do a Mariah Carey screech in every song.
