Very unfair way to go
celticgirl
04-06-2004
Anyone else think that Big Brother having the final say on who is evicted tonight, because of something Kitten did, is a very unfair way to leave the show. Whoever the housemate is, leaves the house never knowing how long they would have lasted, had the public had it's say, which is surely the whole point of Big Brother in the first place. Its a bad move to take the power of these decisions away from the general public, after all, that is the crux of the show. For all anyone knows... that person may be robbed of the experience of many weeks in the BB House had the general public had their say. The only way this is fair tonight is if the housemates make the decision on who is to go, ( as in the departure of Lynn in BB3) and not Big Brother, and there should be NO exemption of Kitten from the process. She has done nothing to warrant the favour of a free week at the cost of someone else.

Since when has BB claimed to be fair?

Emma will go, but the blow will be softened when Simon Cowel appears on the show tonight and offeres her a contract with BMG.

Actually I think it will be Kitten, as she has a court case on wednesday.

Remember BB is still trying to pretend they're evil.

Definitely Kitten tonight, methinks. Otherwise the fake eviction won't work because Kitten will want to "rebel".

BB threatened to be evil this year and this is really really evil on whoever gets the push, and evil on Kitten (tee hee) cos every other HM will resent the little Trotskyite.

Yes this is a chance for BB to prove it is evil. I doubt that they really are.

It will all be a BIG anti climax tonight.

I hope I am wrong, but it will be Ahmed to go..... my reasons for thinking this is, everyone else in that house has a storyline in them, or at least the possiblity for one. BB will not want to lose that.

Ahmed will not be too much of a blow to BB to lose.
So then the Anit climax kicks in.....
None of the housemates will be that bothered if AHmed goes, Kitten may be a little gutted for all of 5 mins, but Ahmed will say to her its not her fault and BB planned this. And so because he won't be annoyed the other HMS won't bat an eyelid either.

Ahmed has nothing to offer BB in the same way as the others.( Sorry Ahmed!)
I hope I am wrong and its Marco to go!

If the decision is based on 'how much of a loss' then it'll be Shell or Vanessa. Ahmed has been involved in a couple of disputes / interesting discussions and is Kitten's only ally, of sorts. It'll upset the dynamics in a non-entertaining way to get rid of Ahmed at this stage, I feel.

Maybe they'll throw somone out tonight then disqualify Kitten next week due to her court appearance, meaning the evicted housemate can return...

But Ahmed is not really liked in the house is he? He had an argument granted, but the other HMS will be relieved if its him to go.

If it was Shell, Vanessa or fingers crossed Marco, then the house will go crazy, they have built rapports in there with most of the others, they have developed relationships in different ways with many in there.

Ahmed has isolated himself to a certain extent his main friend being Kitten.

If Ahmed goes, what will happen? Fake tears from the girls, Kittens back patted by Ahmed, saying its not your fault.

What say if Shell, Vanessa or Marco went? You can bet the "harem" will scream like banshees! And thats what I want to see.

But I fear an anti climax.

BB has always been fair on the viewers. For example they have never allowed an evicted HM back into the house with a chance of winning (John couldn't win).

I think it is disgraceful that the power of eviction is being taken away from the public. That is the whole point of the game. Even when Lynne went the public decided the bottom two and then the HMs chose - so at least we had a say then.

Kitten should be removed for rulebreaking. If the news was right today she is expected to appear in Court next week to face charges of not paying fines, as such BB should not keep her in the house for that reason alone.

um yes, but who said BB had to be fair? At the end of the day Big Brother makes up the rules, so fair or not fair, that is how the game goes.

I am with English Misfit about the sad liklihood of Ahmed been thrun out. Would LOVE to see Marco go as he is an immature whine, but BB will want to keep him in as he is constantly bitching and that will cause friction. Ahmed is a cool genuine guy, and I would like to see him been given a chance. If he managed to make it through the first 5 evictions (unlikely) I think we would get a chance to see his true depths. Shell and Vanessa will not get chucked out even though they are boring because they have the 'babe' factor. (OH's jaw is still dragging on the floor after Shell's naked chef impression...)

Shell is there to be in the last 2 (lpok at the bookies odds and polls) she and Vanessa are also there to make the show look nice. They won't get much of a male audience for Emma and Nadia and a lot of gay men.

Ahmed going is what you might expect in terms of relationships but evicting the immigrant at the first chance would be so politically unacceptable as to be impossible. Ditto Nadia.

Jason only has a Daniel story and that will undermine Daniel's chances of winning. You want victims and strong women for a hard BB so why keep stoic Jason when you can have brave Shell, pluckuy Vanessa, crying Emma and wailing Marco.

Leaving aside the contract and the people who have bet on who ever goes, BB shouldn't decide the winner. If they want to decide the winner by taking people out for their own reasons they can't expect us to vote for the people who they leave for us as the competition is pointless . The winner of BB is the only one never evicted by the public or by the HM after being nominated by the public . Remove someone like this and you have two people fitting the description and the winning one may only be there because BB removed the other. Why vote for a winner who didn't actually win but just ended up as the last one of those alowed to stay.
