Kitten made her feelings about the Sun quite clear from entering the BB5 House. That did not prevent the Sun from having Kitten on its front page several times last week, as well as covering her antics on the inside pages. Kitten 'sells' newspapers and that's all the Sun cares about.

i think kittens gob is that big that we already know all we want to know about her. anyway what is she going to tell us next from her 'walter mitty' collection. i do not know how, after her general behaviour and lies that she can actually go out in public again. however, she is just so brazen and thick skinned that she will be out and about in a shake of a cats tail me thinks! she makes out she is such an intelligent woman to everyone, but if she was, after seeing 4 years of big brother and what happens to the housemates (especially in the newspapers), why did she lie and act like a prime nobber in there. what a silly girl she is.

The point is that Kitten has not been proved to be a liar. Others have accused her of telling lies, usually people with either a vested interest in labelling her so or those that are opposed to her views.

Why should Kitten be condemned as a liar before she has had an opportunity to reply to her accusers?

As for her not going out in public again, why ever not? What has she done that is so bad other than perhaps speak her mind... OK, she was often inarticulate, but so what? She is not a criminal. Or is it a crime now to have minority political views?

What minority political views were those then? I'm sure everyone agrees stavation is "a really, really bad thing".

I'm sure the Sun will give ample coverage to her court case.

Sorry, not going down this road again. Kitten's views are crystal clear. So much so that reactionaries have spent most of the last week using every possible excuse to demonise Kitten for holding them.

As I said ... wait for her to reply to her accusers then judge. In the UK even the most hardened criminals are allowed their say in court before being condemned.

the reason she cannot go out is that she has lied. if people in the government can be villianised then why should kitten play by other rules. she would be the first one to jump on anyone else's back. surely if what she has been saying had not been lies then davina would have asked her so that she could be in the clear. however, i think the reason she was not asked was because when she had to admit she was a liar her public persona would have gone even further down (if possible). the fact that it was a 'closed' eviction says a lot about general public perception of kitten. there will always be wind up merchants on this forum that say the opposite to what everyone believes to just cause a fuss.

I think you'll find that she IS a criminal. Or do all law abiding citizens have to attend court on Wednesday? Do all the good people of the country have past convictions, too?

Come on, the fact that she is a known criminal hardly supports your assertion that she isn't a full-on liar. Strangely most people would assume the opposite.

The reason she is due in court is for none payment of fines, hardly child murder.

You only have to look what happens when most of the country thinks like she does, thats what happened with the poll tax.

Trouble is most people only act if it affects them and get even more worked up if it hits them in the pocket.

Anyway my guess is she may give her story to the big issue or something like that and not a scum paper like the sun.

What criminal offence did she commit? Why does this dictate that she, or anyone else for that matter, should be condemned as being a liar, without being heard first? As I said, in the UK, even the most hardened criminals are allowed to speak in their own defence, before sentence is passed on any new charges that they may be accused of.

As for her court appearance this coming Wednesday, that's a civil offence, NOT a criminal one. Unfortunately many thousands of people find themselves in this position when they accumalate more debts than they thought they could manage. It does not follow that they are guilty nor does it follow that they lied about some completely un-related matter on a TV show.

Like her father. When your own father calls you a liar on national TV, that's pretty heavy.

if it was an act of civil disobedience then there is entirely NO justification at all in assuming her to be a liar, simply because she has a criminal record.

Well if, as it appears she was told she MUST attend and she knew this when she either applied for BB or when she knew she was going in (no idea when this case was set) she was putting herself up for contempt of court which I believe is a criminal act.

She deliberately made sure she wasn't going to be there, of course we are still assuming that she will actually turn up on Wednesday. Maybe she'll rebel against the system and not turn up?

I would love to know what she got fines for though, could be anything, from not paying her tv licence to breach of the peace, who knows!
