Hi Plug. All I am saying is I don't believe that Kitten should be condemned as a liar until she has had an opportunity to answer the allegations being made against her.

Then, IF she lied, we must consider the context & her reasons for doing so.

There is always the option to say nothing at this time.

Fair enough. It would have been nice if Davina had actually asked her about it on Friday night. Trouble is she is so flakey (Kitten, not Davina) that it was probably a smart thing not to ask her just yet.

It was just worrying that her father should choose neither to defend her, nor to keep a dignified silence.

Agreed, however

......She is not a criminal. Or is it a crime now to have minority political views?”

You can't have it both ways, if you choose to believe all she said in the house, including her double life as a boarding school pupil / prostitute in London tale then she is guilty of criminal behaviour.

Absolute nonsense. On the whole there has been very little criticism of her beliefs. I've stated before that Kitten got the repsonse she did from many for her behavior not her beliefs, for her actions not her opinions. She herself acknowledged that she had acted like an idiot and a 12 year old in the house. Many on this forum had drawn the same conclusion.

There's no point trying to convince those who believe kitten to be a saint otherwise.

Her actions are shameful, and for the record, I don't think half of her "beliefs" are sane either.

She's in court for not paying someone for a service or product that she recieved. (Does anyone know what it actually is?) I guess that makes her a thief. Her father has went public calling her an outright liar. She has previous convictions. She has serious mental issues (her own confession). Stories in the paper of her keeping a previous girlfriend captive.

You know, that does all sound to me like a normal person. A wonderous person filled with love and honesty that sets an example to us all.

Or not.

Hi ontwofronts ....

1 - I'm aware of your comments regarding the nature of Kitten's reputation. They are fair but I don't think that they are shared by most of Kitten's critics. A quick look at the posts on DS proves my point that it is for her politics that she is so despised by so many.

2 - Your comments about prostitution are fair. Of course prostitution is a criminal offence. How does that prove that she is a liar? Why should that be used as an excuse for not allowing her 'a right to reply'' before labelling her a liar?

Well, I'm another one that holds similar political views as Kitten. Yet, I'm as outspoken as any other Kitten-detractor. I'll happily go on record and call her an idiot and furthermore, think that the way she aired opinions actually diminished the opinions themselves. She did nothing but reinforce the tired political perception of the old 'loony left', right on for right on's sake and a general pain in the arse.

Reading back over the forum, I get the opposite impression: whilst some didn't like her politics, more people didn't like her behaviour and the way she put it across.

Just a message of support - Well done EddyBee for standing your ground against the trolls in training. I fully agree with everything you've said.
In response to the thread title - Kitten already selling her story - has it crossed anyones mind this "story" was created simply so The Sun could get its (oh so hilarious) "joke" in about kitty litter and flea collars?

That's fair enough. We have to agree to disagree.

I saw the posts on DS, and elsewhere, in a very different light. The whole reaction to Kitten was hysterical, the internet equivalent of a public lynch mob Her clearly stated political views were at the top of most peoples 'reasons-to-hate-Kitty' list. No surprises there .... they voted for Cameron in their hundreds of thousands last year ... speaks volumes.

Is this a clever parody on the 1984/ Big Brother theme? The Thought Police?
Somehow I doubt it

hey Piers. do believe in adhering to rules that you have agreed to in advance.?
Just wondering, particularly this one for example

'Please show other users respect at all times'

(In the Digital spy terms and conditions, which everyone has to agree to before posting.)

Just wondering (with all due respect)what you thoughts are on this particular rule.

Kittenites must have been embarrassed when, in the post-eviction interview, the rogue feline conceded that she had acted like a child and an idiot. The medium killing the message.

Thought Police again?

I wasn't embarrassed at all - her acting "like a child" is what entertained me so much

I've always thought she was funny and great for the show...I don't have to associate myself with everything someone I enjoy on a gameshow does or says....

Unlike the BB house where if you disagree with self righteous Kitten you are instantly labelled as " You're all ignorant"

As you so often point out ..... how do you know what I'm thinking?

For the record, I adore Kitten. And I adore despite her faults, especially when she so openly & honestly admits to them.

That's correct. This is a discussion board where folk comment on what they have seen and heard, where lasting opinions are formed and discussed. Kittens's remarks were of the moment and therefore have to be considered in context.
