Re-release a few classics to show the younger ones what real music is
I think some tunes should be re released into mainstream chart in order to show younger folks what they have missed
Here are a few suggestions below, They are timeless classics that never seem to age. How great would it be listening to them on the radio again, and hearing all the chavs on the bus play these instead for a wee change, What are yours? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTN9N...eature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5ZEzWwKJnY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVvJL...eature=related |

You can't go wrong with a bit of Vengaboys
Their most summery song has to be -We're going to Ibiza.http://il.youtube.com/watch?v=MXXRHpVed3M Christina Aguilera's Genie in a Bottle has to be a brilliant cheesy summery song. Also have to go with O-Zone - Dragostea Din Tei which is one my fave cheesy songs. http://il.youtube.com/watch?v=jRx5PrAlUdY I have to agree with you on S Club. TYHey are always great to listen to in the summer. Othe songs I would mention are: Sweet like Chocolate-Shanks & Bigfoot Stars are Blind-Paris Hilton (Yeah, her! It is actually a great summer song) Steps-5,6,7,8 ann lee-two times sweet female attitude-i'll bring you flowers cher-believe Aqua-Mr Jones N Sync-girlfriend staceys mom - fountain of wayne mmmbop - hanson living la vida loca/she bangs-ricky martin bailimos-enrique igliesias Who Let The Dogs Out - Baha Men hey mickey-toni basil Mr Boombastic - Shaggy blue - eiffel 65 smooth criminal -alien ant farm bad touch - bloodhound gang pretty fly for a white guy Saturday Night Whigfield lou bega-mambo no5 dj casper-cha cha slide Just A Little Bit - Gina G here in your arms - hellogoodbye beat of my heart - hilary duff never leave you-lumidee pon de replay - rihanna Hope this helps! |

I wouldn't call Kylie's slow a cheesy pop record. The majority of her early stuff from the 80's is good old fashioned cheesy pop like Loco motion, i should be so lucky etc. So try and get some vintage Kylie.

Cheesy pop is a great tradition, and once upon a time it wasn't actually shit music either. Russ Abbot's 'Atmosphere' is a standout example for me; lyrically dubious but nevertheless good music in itself, even thought it is blatantly parodying an emergent form (SAW).

I'd say songs like Love At First Sight and Come Into My World are quite cheesy too.

What about some of Britney's early songs (from the Baby One More Time/Oops I Did It Again eras)? They were quite cheesy.

More recently, Olly Murs' debut single Please Don't Let Me Go was quite cheesy. |
