I'm having issues with Internet Explorer and those feeds and since BBViewer uses IE it's not working well for me
I can only view feed 1.1. Connect Hotspot Shield 2. Go to Superpass and log in as usual 3. Start BBViewerR3 4. Minimise the Superpass window |

It works OK for me, but only if I do it in this order:
1. Connect Hotspot Shield 2. Go to Superpass and log in as usual 3. Start BBViewerR3 4. Minimise the Superpass window ![]() Feeds work good in Firefox tho but it's a resource drain. I really hope they do something about that because I can imagine people using an even older PC than I am are having serious issues with bad playback and those with a Mac are royally screwed because Flash and a Mac aren't really working good together. |

I don't use Hotspot Shield anymore, I looked for a free proxy on the internet. Anyway, I had the issue too when I used Hotspot Shield

Real have shot themselves in the foot big-time over this haven't they. Incredible that they didn't have all this sorted out before the season started.

I can't think of a better example of fixing something that's not broken. Real Superpass is this season's bloody saboteur!

I think the real problem is that they can't geo-block the .rm streams and that's why they have another system this season. It's not at all about the experience or other blabla. That's just the disguise. |

So I cancelled the feed, think I was still on my 3 day free trial, seems I was a few hours late and now stuck with this laggy slow LQ feed now

It makes me think that it was a very late CBS decision to geo-block the feeds.
It's Real's own delivery of the stream that's the problem. No full screen, no always on top, no pop-out, preview screens of the 4 feeds are wrong or frozen most of the time. Aaaargh. Us BB fans have to suffer for our addiction. |

![]() The feed's quality is fine tho. Just a bit laggy due to that stupid Flash using more resources than necessary. |

I don't think the geo-blocking is the problem - Real themselves have been recommending to disgruntled customers that they use a VPN, and that seems to work fine.

Sites like www.ificandream.com and http://dilemme.dailymotion.com show that it's possible to deliver a good streaming service using Flash.
Why is it not possible to geo-block a Real Player based stream? |

BTW: there's more problems with that player. It auto-adjusts to the bandwidth you have but it just does that at various times without any reason. The other problem is those little feeds at the side, they use a sh!tload of bandwidth and resources every time they update. If they would just have little jpg's being loaded, let's say, every 30 seconds it would use much less bandwidth and resources.

Why is it not possible to geo-block a Real Player based stream? ![]() Well, I'm assuming Real can't geo-block .rm, I'm not 100% sure. It could also be CBS demanded them to use the company that delivers the feeds right now (Clipsync I think). |

I thought that Flash was one of Real's competitors in online video delivery, but maybe there's some corporate tie-up higher up the tree.

Bleugh - Kristen is popping pimples on Ragan's back. Does every BB season have to feature this? Is it a contractual obligation?

Ragan, Brandon, Rachel, discussing previous seasons and Ragan spouting his theories about each winner, mostly more-or-less correct IMO.
They have some booze. |
