Initial guess was Matt and I'm sticking with this.

You might want to send a request to DS Forum Support because this subforum? It's practically invisible.

Wow, quite a few thinking Kathy, I don't see that at all. That would be quite surprising but cool.

My reasoning is that she was unnaturally awful holding onto that big, slippery weiner

I thought Matt in the first place, and i'm going to stand by that, though I hope it isnt him. I actually hope the ultimate twist is that there is NO sabateur and its all just a mindgame

Producer Allison Grodner has yet to say "no" to a twist that'll get exposed rather quickly. The moment BBUS has no twist under her reign will be the first.

Also, the Mensa dude (Matt?) is the Mole.

okay, so let me get this straight...the saboteur has to know the layout of the house so well that he/she knows where the power box is...kinda seems like that would be one thing kept behind the scenes...so who was NOT sitting there when the lights went out? ... certainly the lights can't be on remote control...
If they wanted the mole to turn the power off themselves it would be trivial for them to explain where the box was. Almost certainly Big Brother turned the lights of themselves. They may even have put the padlock on themselves. I'd imagine that the person doing it might have had night vision glasses, how would they know that they weren't going to bump into someone. Wonder how they didn't hear someone padlock the door? It's not easy to do quietly and it's quiet a risky thing to do since BB could probably lock the doors without resorting to a stunt.

When the lights went out, 3 people were off camera and there were 10 on the sofa. When the lights came back on all 13 were in the lounge (although Andrew was behind a sofa)

Before the lights (clockwise starting with hotseats)
Lane
Brandon
Matt/andrew
Britney
Kristen
Ragan
Annie
Rachel
Hayden
Enzo

Missing
Matt/Andrew
Monet
Kathy

After the lights
Lane
Matt
Britney
Kristen

Branden
Annie
Monet
Kathy
Andrew
Ragan
Rachel
Hayden
Enzo

The ones in bold don't seem to have moved.

To be fair, this isn't that helpful. BB has been very selective with the editing, there's a chance that some of the footage was taken long before or after the event. We don't actually see the lights go out, the screen just goes black. The video doesn't really match the audio, people are looking very relaxed and in almost an identical position, except matt has suddenly taken Brandens spot! When the lights return people positions change very suddenly, Matt is sitting in the hotseat one second, next he's half way down the sofa.

What's also strange is that peoples clothes change. Andrew's clothes actually change three times! He is sitting next to Brandon and has a blue t-shirt and blue shorts on, then his wearing light coloured shorts when he's supposedly pranking them, then his clothes revert to their original state but when they all sit back down he suddenly has a sleeveless top and trousers on!

"Before" the lights go off Brandon is wearing a UCLA Bruins t-shirt, when he walks into the bedroom (is it even him?) he's wearing a light top and long bottoms and it changes back when he's in the living room. However the colour change might be down to the infrared pictures since he's always wearing the same style clothes.

Also Brandon said it took "like 20 mins" for him to find his toothbrush. I think we can assume that the mole had plenty of time to lock the door.

Britney

When they first announced the twist, I thought it was a female, because a) the voice is masucline, and b) the sillouette has more of a feminine form (although I realise that could easily be altered). So I thought Kathy, because who would be a better sabatour than a cop.

But now I think it's Britney. She was useless in the weiner task (although her line "I think I lost my dignity on a slippery weiner" has to be an all time classic). Once they were being hoisted up high enough to grab the straps, she should have had no problem with it, plus the knee injury seemed totally fake.

Then in the Have/Have Not compo, the first time through the caramel she was really slow, then she 'missed to see' the tooth that had been set aside for her, yet when it was clear her side couldn't win, she was somehow able to go back through the caramel quite easily. Yes Kathy made a meal of it, but it was too obvious a meal.

Finally, what was the point of the sabatour putting the crosses on two faces, and sending the message? No one is going to automatically nominate those two people, so why would it be done? IMHO it was done to garner sympathy and to divert attention. And who used that situation to their advantage the most? Britney. And by making herself the target of the sabatour at the start of the show in a way that wouldn't actually risk her being nominated, people aren't going to suspect her as much in the coming weeks.

n.b. This is based on the HL show, so if anything has happened on the LF to explain some of these points, please let me know.

I know there is a saboteur, but I think it would be really funny if there wasn't one...so they were all paranoid and suspicious about no one.

I think it actually could be Andrew just because it is so obvious. I don't think anyone can be so stupid as to go missing when the lights go out when there is a saboteur in the game...especially when they've just made themselves the number one suspect by volunteering to miss the HOH competition.

However I think BB would have most likely chosen a female or someone who's really smart; so either Annie or Matt.

I dont think that the door was locked by a Houseguest. It would just be far to difficult for the sabateur to do when 10 frantic people are sitting nearby. Does the door open inwards or outwards? Id be willing to bet production was waiting in the storage room when the lights went off, and locked the door themselves.

You're assuming it was locked when the lights went out. It would have been easy for the sabateur to hold back and be the last (or one of the last) to get to the sofa and put the lock on as they passed. No one was expecting it, so no one would be on the look out for anything strange.
