i used to make bolognese sandwiches and they were lovely, so id imagine lasangne ones will be nice
Have also been known to stuff my lasagne into pitta pockets - for this reason alone I try not serve much bread with lasagne (too many carbs!!). I'd not buy the Tesco Sarnie though, I am not a fan of shop sarnies! |

It's similar to a Panini Press but it seals the bread. You end up with a toasted sandwhich that looks like this with 2 pockets of melted cheese inside
LOL AAaaahhhhhhh............. Sortof gotya now ..............Thats not a " cheese " toaster though ................. By your own definition it also toasts mince ( LOL ) .......... We just call those " toastie machines " ...........

Hmmmm, just had mine from Tesco's.
Quite nice actually. Soft white bread, tasty thick cheese and the lasagne was very nice. Of course, a bit wierd it being cold, and its too high in fat for a daily sandwich, although it didnt actually feel heavy at all. |

Urgh. Cold pasta on clammy supermarket bread
![]() I'd rather have hot lasagne with a fresh crusty roll. |

I think many would prefer that but if you're out and about and have a short time for lunch then it is one more option.
I agree with the white bread though. Eating supermarket sandwiches several days a week almost put me off white bread. I would only eat sandwiches made with the multi-grain bread such as BLT or Ploughmans. |

Was almost tempted by one in Tesco at lunchtime today...
...but then had second thoughts and stuck to my usual ham, cheese & pickle. |

Still haven't been tempted by the lasagne sandwich but I've just had one of the Tesco onion bhaji sandwich (zapped in the microwave) and it wasn't bad at all.

We tried one a few days ago and it actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Probably wouldn't buy it again though!

I've had Lasagne on a bagel before.
Cold Lasagne is so much better than hot in my opinion, it holds together so much better. Wouldn't buy it from Tesco though, I don't like their bread, prefer boots sandwiches. |
