Shelley chooses to go for a night out with Sunita instead when Jason lets slip to her that Charlie is looking forward to getting her into bed. Charlie gets drunk at the bar and Bev takes advantage of him and they sleep together. Bev feels guilty and tells Shelley. Shelley doesn't believe her and confronts Charlie, who convinces her that Bev probably made it up because she is jealous of them. Shelley believes Charlie and tells Bev that she doesn't want to see her anymore. Bev packs her bags and leaves. Her last appearance is on Monday June 14th 2004. However, there are rumours that she will be returning.

Sigh.. I was hoping she might tie Charlie up and bring him along in her suitcase against his will.. Then she leaves the case somewhere by mistake, and he runs out of oxygen or is found first by wild dogs and that's one less annoying soap character to worry about!

Tony Wood doesn't seem to have stood too firm on his decision to axe 5 characters. Harry's been saved, Angela and Tommy have both had their contracts extended, Bev's coming back........ ah well, at least Nick will be going soon. (we hope).

Is Bev really coming back. That is good news. She is a good actress and no reason for her to be sacked. I like her but hate her silly storylines with Charlie

She's a good actress but I agree the storylines have done her no favours. She's great at comedy, they should give her more of that. I hope it's true she's returning as I think she could be a real asset in The Rovers, a cross between acid tongued Annie Walker and slaggy Bet Lynch
