Emmerdale, Going Up? Agree?
I have always been a huge Eastenders fan, but I agree that, recently it has become less entertaining and did not deserve to win Best Soap at the British Soap Awards.
I have, however, been surprised at how good Emmerdale has been lately considering I only ever watched it as there was nothing else on. I predict that if Eastenders does not kick into action soon, Emmerdale and Corrie will be going head-to-head every year at the awards. Good luck to them!

Oh I hope so. I've loved Emmerdale for ages now and it's definitely on a high. The humour is spot on at times...like last night with Val in the vineyard. Eastenders could only wish for stuff like that I reckon..
Mind you, this week's has been the least interesting for a while for me, but it's still great and far preferable to EE. |

Emmerdale has really pulled its socks up these days. The pace did slow last week but that was okay as I felt it gave time to draw breath and take stock of the postion of the characters after the last few weeks.

Emmerdale has been fantastic lately, the humour has been spot on. Can't wait for the arrival of Sherrie Hewson.
The Scott and Zoe storyline is very touching and one of the best current storylines. |

I disagree. Since Chris Tate died, I've felt it's had a lack of things to do. In my opinion, six episodes (one of which is an hour) is way too many for the soap.
I'd like to see it drop back to 5 30 minute episodes and see how it goes. Less is more, as they say. Matt PS. On the up side, Sherrie Hewson should be brill for it |

I agree Emmerdale is going up - but it's on too much! 6 episodes a week is far too much - but more preferable than EE.

Lol - i totally disagree with you all (heheheheh, contraversial, moi
).Ive been getting really bored with Emmerdale, and i have watched it now for years. Im bored with the charity and patsy kensit war which is a farce. I dont really like the new family to rival the tates, and the Katie and Robert storyline dragged on too much. Steph winds me up, and Eric Pollard. And all this rubbish with the vineyard I love Chastity (in fact all the barmaids are great), and i think Nicola's character is brilliant. I also love Ashley and his new love. But i think there are too many dreary characters right now. I think they need to have something cheerful happen, like a wedding. Maybe Ashley could get married ? Apologies for forgetting everyones names ... i think im suffering with a mental disorder

Emmerdale is far better than EE - EE is sooo depressing - The only bit I have glimpsed is sonia marrying mark - How unbelievable is that - you decide to marry the man you had a baby with gave for adoption and the man who killed your fiance too far fetched Quote:
