Just seen her performing it on TV, and I quite like it, it's very summery, but where have I heard the tune of the chorus from?? I think it's from some sort of nursery rhyme or party chant??

It's probably completely original or from a really famous song, and I've just gone and embarrassed myself with all of the above. "Nursery rhyme"

^^^Ah, thanks! I do like Alexandra's song. And that pains me to say that because I don't like the girl herself.

Yes Alex is lovely. Not sure about this song though, didn't think it would be something she'd do!

She's just really, really up herself, and as a respectable, down-to-earth human being, I don't like that trait in a person

It sounds like a Boney M song from the 70's to me

I don't think she's up herself at all. She comes from humble backgrounds and got a big break on X Factor. Therefore, she's extremely grateful, hard working, dedicated, determined, I could go on all night.

I love Alexandra. I love Bad Boys and I loved All Night Long.

I think this will do well. Top 3 definitely.

you need permission for covers and although it's customary to ask permission for samples and parodies it's not required.

She is incredibly up herself. You can see that by the way she acts on tv shows, and generally whenever there's a camera near her she's doing that silly pose with that smug grin of hers. To me she just comes across as 'Look at me! I'm on tv, I'm so famous, I'm so brilliant!!' It's obvious why she entered X Factor in the first place, she just wanted fame and fortune.

Its the other way around actually, you don't need permission to cover a song ( as long as royalties are paid ) but you do need permission to use samples.

really? I thought you had to get permission for a cover if you'll be making a profit from it AND pay royalties. I always thought as far as sampling goes there not a lot that's stopping you, guess I was wrong.
