Hi,

I'm looking for some help with this type of tariff with regard to paying the bill.

I understand the free minutes and the text messages, however as it's not a ‘contract’ and just a ‘subscription’ how do you go about paying the £30? (gone up from £25 recently. ) Is it like the O2 Online PAYG where you have to top up a minimum of £10 every thirty days (so in this case £30) or do you have to pay it online through e-billing? I am just a little confused by that as how do you agree a bill-pay-date each month and so on?..

The second question seems a bit dumb but having had problems with operators and their lies in the past I’m wondering, when you pay £30 does the £30 go onto your phone or do you have to top up additionally if you use the minutes and texts?; my assumption here is that they are called "inclusive mins" and "free text's" so the thirty is on the phone but I could be wrong!

Also is anyone on this tariff or the 100/50 one.. how do you rate the general paying/service, I'd appreciate some real life experiences of it.

Thanks for reading.
shens

I've been on this tariff for two months now. I'm on a 12 month contract though as I wanted a phone but I don't think your situation would be any different, apart from you can cancel it at any time.
Every month, O2 send you an email saying your bill is ready (mine usually comes on the 17th) and they say that they will take it out of your account by Direct Debit on or after a certain date (mine's usually the 10th or 11th).
On the website, you can view your bill, it lists all calls and text messages you have made within the month and if they are covered by your tariff. There is no credit system with PayMonthly, you just get billed every month for what you've done.

I have the online 100 package and i have no faults with it at all. I've never gone over on my texts or minutes. And they take a payment around the 1st of each month.

Sounds good aslong as I can monitor how many texts and minutes online I should be fine.
Thanks for feedback.

I'm on the old Genie Anytime tariff. I pay a tenner a month which gives me 100 minutes to landlines and o2 mobiles, unlimited WAP access and unlimited text messages.

Some time ago, o2 abolished the 12 month agreement for users who go on an online tarriff with a SIM option. Unfortunatly this is no longer available
They also stopped there Online SIM 300 OffPeak tarriff (£15/month)

I'm on the Online 200 with O2 as well. When I come to check the package that i am recieving ie 200 free calls any network etc. I noticed where it said 200 free calls it had with rollover next to it.

So does that mean at the end of the month if I don't use my 200 free minutes then they get rolled over to the next month.
