Seriously, this is why the music industry is failing, IT'S A QUESTION YOU WOULD ASK IN PRIMARY SCHOOL, i do not see the appeal of that song and 'tinnie tempah' sounds like a silly character in a kids show

I believe both of Tinie Tempah's singles this year proved popular for the music rather than the lyrics.
We all know the lyrics in both songs aren't great (although I actually think they are silly but in a fun way - Tinie himself has hinted at this), but musically they are actually quite good, albeit very similar to each other. |

Pass Out and Frisky sound pretty much identical, structurally at least. And that "risk it for a biscuit" phrase has been around for a while hasn't it? I had ElectroVamp's I Don't Like The Vibe In The VIP come up on shuffle the other day, and they use the same lyric in that.

I personally think Tinie Tempah appeals mainly to mid-teens and clubbers. It's definitely something that was written to be played in clubs which is why it's so popular..... it does well at what it's intended for.
Not my taste though

What else rhymes with "risk it"? Nothing. I rest my case, your honour.

OH HELL TO THE MOTHER F**KING YES!!!
I'D TOTALLY RISK IT FOR A CHOCOLATE BISCUIT!!! I'm exactly sure what it is I'm risking, but for a chocolate biscuit? Count me in! And, if you've got a custard cream going free, I'm not saying no. |

I think he's referring to himself as the chocolate biscuit in question...

I don't even get it. What am I risking for a chocolate biscuit?? I love how a few years ago, he was vitually unknown and then BAM, due to two massive hits he's born famous, he's sorta known and if your son doesnt... I bet your daughter knows

it is a strange lyric. the problem i have with the song is that its practically identical to 'pass out'.
im interested to see what he comes up with next... |
