Bruised Foresight might well get the shows muddled while presenting SCD - for the Sunday results show, Tess will have more luck with her new co-presenter, Mr Jerry Atric.

(with apologies to the Thread for Lazy Journalists thread)

I do not agree.

Bruce Forsyth is an excellent presenter.

Some of the best television presenters are those who have been doing the job for some time.

"For some time " - you mean since the Battle of Agincourt.

Everybody is being told at the BBC to cut down, cut back - they cut out Wossie and Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley, so why for the love of heaven are the Strictly producers still trying to hang onto Forsythe senior?

His replacement is already there - it's Tess. It's bloomin' obvious, so why can't 'they' see it?

There is no way those tv execs would let a woman be the main presenter in a headline show. They should go for Graham Norton but knowing the cussidness of the BBC we will end up with someone bizarre like Johnny Vegas.

Jonathan Ross decided tnot to renegotiate his contract some six months before it was due to end. Adrian Chiles was successfully courted by ITV after supposedly being put out by Chris Evans getting the Friday One Show slot. Christine Bleakley accepted a lucrative offer from ITV after the BBC stated that it would not get into a bidding war for her services.

So the BBC did not "cut them out", they left of their own accord.
